If there are two things you should know about me, it’s that I am always cold and I own a lot of coats! So, I take my cold weather layers and coat shopping very seriously. Being from the north to now living in a place where the weather can be quite unpredictable, I have learned to stay prepared for quick and cold temperature changes. How do I do this? Don’t let the name fool you… A car coat is not just meant for driving! I love a classic, wool coat in the fall and winter. With a sophisticated silhouette and typically slimmer structure, a topcoat is one of my colder-weather favorites. An all-purpose, no-fail, cold weather jackets: the puffer and the down-filled jackets. Puffers, parkas, and down jackers are all made solely to keep you warm through the bitter temps. Truly, it is a must-have for pretty much everyone, unless you live in Hawaii… you can disregard this one probably. I love my puffers and down jackets to throw on over a casual outfit or just when I really need that extra warmth! Nowadays, looking like a marshmallow is, like, kind of, a trend, so let’s just embrace it and stay warm folks.
