How is it already the middle of September?! Many of you know we bought our house in February and have been working hard to turn it into our dream home. We’ve gotten so much done in the last 6-7 months, but still have a long way to go. One of the priority spaces on our list to redo was the living room! When we moved in, it was dated and the space wasn’t being used very well. So today I’m SO excited to partner with Wayfair to share our living room before & after! Think: timeless, bright whites, paired with blue tones and lots of texture! All of which are the core design components throughout my home. Keep reading to shop and learn more about our living room before & after and how we achieved a fresh new space!
Some of my favorite items in my home are from Wayfair, like this artwork and this light fixture. And I just purchased this wallpaper, too! Which is now in stock and on sale!
So when I saw this sofa, I knew I had to have two of them for my living room! Not to mention, they are amazing quality and you just can’t beat the price! Our living room isn’t huge, but I really wanted this space to feel inviting while optimizing function. So I decided to mirror two white slipcover sofas across from each other, with a sleek wood coffee table in the middle. The down-filled bench seat cushion allows for optimal comfort for our friends and family, while appearing very polished and clean for a slipcover sofa.
The sofas come with five beautiful down-filled throw pillows, which you can leave on the sofa, or interchange seasonally. I wanted to incorporate pops of blue to tie in our rug and green, so I added a few throw pillows of my own to make it feel cohesive.
I hope you love our living room before & after as much as I do! Be sure to keep checking back for more home updates and follow along on instagram for all the behind the scenes!
Thank you Wayfair for sponsoring this post.
