Our Backyard Transformation

We finished our back patio just in time for summer! This was something on our home improvement to-do list ever since we bought the house. You can see below in the “before” photo that the outdoor space was dated and really had no “life” to it. And, with planning a wedding and working full-time, we both put it on the back-burner. So, we are so excited to share now that we finally have the space painted, stained, and completely furnished! Keep reading to see our backyard transformation.

We tore down the lattice and Justin built us a pergola instead – this really gave our outdoor space a face lift! Then we painted the railings white and pressure washed and stained the deck. I wanted to keep the space bright and fresh! So I went with a natural colored rug, whites, navy and green. I found this furniture set on Target and the quality is AMAZING – as well as the rug!

Even Ollie loves our new back yard! I should keep him off, but how can I say no to that cute little face?!
