My mom and I recently planned a day trip to a local nursery to pick up some pumpkins and fall foliage. We were happily surprised when it turned out to be a trip to the flower fields! We stumbled upon the most gorgeous stretch of zinnias and sunflowers sitting on top of a hill. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, there was also a stunning view of the Great Smoky Mountains! It’s moments like those that make you so stinkin’ happy to live in Tennessee. And excited about all of the fall things. So of course, we had to capture the moment and share some of our finds from the nursery!
Some of these sunflowers were as tall as me! I couldn’t believe it! Also, disclaimer: I was very careful not to step on any of the flowers and stay on the paths made between them.
We went home with an entire backseat-full of pumpkins, of course! All in different sizes, shapes, and colors! They were the perfect addition to our fall tablescapes and front porch decor.
