WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG

When it comes to beauty products, I’m always so curious to know what other people are using and what’s inside their makeup bag. And I know I’m not alone in this because I often get asked what makeup I use! So today, I thought it’d be fun to show you what’s in my makeup bag and share more about the products I couldn’t live without.

I know makeup can be overwhelming at times, especially with social media and the endless products lining the shelves. We have access to so many great tutorials and inspirational looks that sometimes we feel discouraged ours didn’t turn out the same! So, this is just a reminder to all you ladies that makeup is FUN! It doesn’t have to be taken too seriously. Have fun with it! Try new things! After all.. It washes off!

Foundation

Out of everything in my makeup bag, this foundation is what I can’t live without. Allow me to introduce you to my all time favorite: bareMinerals barePRO liquid foundation. My love for this foundation runs DEEP. It’s non-comedogenic, paraben free, contains SPF, looks truly flawless, and literally doesn’t budge all. day. Setting Powder

I caved into buying this setting powder because I heard so much chatter about it. But I only started using a setting powder a few years ago, and can’t believe what a true game changer it really is. I look back on years of wearing foundation or concealer without a setting powder and cringe. The Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder is truly a MUST-HAVE. When it comes to keeping everything in place for the whole day, keeping oil under control, preventing your under-eye concealer from creasing and everything from fading, this will be your new best friend.

Blush

I feel like blush can totally change my makeup look and give my face “life” after I’ve put on foundation. I am a sucker for a subtle pink beauty look, so this Bobbi Brown blush in Pretty Pink is my go-to. It’s pretty pigmented and blends smoothy onto the apples of my cheeks, offering a nice, matte finish. It also mimics a natural flushed pink shade and lasts for most of the day.

Lipstick

For my everyday lip, I prefer a color that’s just a shade or two darker than my natural lip color with tones of pink. With darker features and a fair to medium skin tone, finding the perfect nude/pink lipstick for my everyday lip color was a bit challenging. So, I’m beyond thrilled to say that I have finally found a my go-to and it’s under $10! The Maybelline SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick in the shade “Enjoy the View” is my favorite for a daily lip. It’s super easy to apply and stays put for most of the day without drying out my lips. I’m obsessed!
