Our First Holiday Card as a Mr. and Mrs.

Can you believe the holidays are already here? Talk about a whirlwind of a year – from planning a wedding and getting married, to unforgettable travels, and career growth/changes. Justin and I have shared so many special memories together this year. So, what better way to commemorate our first Christmas as a married couple than to send out our first holiday card as an official Mr. and Mrs.?!

A little Bit About Basic Invite

I know sending out holiday cards can seem a little overwhelming, but Basic Invite makes it SO easy. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that offers almost unlimited color options with an instant preview of your design online and address capturing. Once you select a card layout, you have the ability to change the colors, fonts, and even move text around. (This truly sets them apart in the holiday cards maker realm.) With over 180 colors or foil to choose from and the instant preview option, I was able to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted before ordering. Because of the instant preview, we skipped ordering samples. But, you do have the option to get custom samples if you want, which is a really nice feature!

A Quick + User-Friendly Process

The whole process took us less than an hour! From picking out our pictures, to customizing the entire card, and making the purchase. We decided on the Vintage Sign card and customized the colors to fit our style a little bit better. Shipping was fast and I got email notifications about my order along the way. I.e. when they were sent to printing, when they were being shipped and an ETA, and that they were in my mailbox. Overall, the whole process was super quick and user-friendly! Now, all I have to do is finish the custom calligraphy and send them out to our loved ones.
