Can Mondays just be, like, canceled or something?
Today’s Monday Musings is brought to you by a strong case of a shopping addiction (that I just can’t seem to cure…) and lots of caffeine. With fall so close I can *almost* feel it, I’ve been on the hunt for all things autumn-related and a seasonal refresh. So without further ado, here are the 5 things I’m loving lately!
No. 1 - fall decor
I’ve mentioned in this post how much I love to decorate for fall! From adding some AUTUMN-atic curb appeal to our front porch, to the fall-scented candles I can’t stop burning… I JUST LOVE FALL!

no. 2- autumn ATHLEISURE
Ah, leggings and oversized sweaters, we meet again. If you’ve been following along with me for a while, then you know that the first thing I do when I get home is put on comfy clothes! During the cooler months, it’s so nice to come home and just throw on leggings/joggers with oversized sweater or sweatshirt.

no 3. - Bright colors + COLOR BLocking
Did any of you catch the colorful outfits at the Emmy’s? Or fall in love with Ainsley’s outfits from the tv show Four Weddings and a Funeral? SO MUCH COLOR. SO MUCH YES. I love the idea of incorporating bright colors or rich jewel tones into fall/winter.

no 4. - All things equine
Lately I’ve been really into all things equestrian. I grew up riding/showing horses so there’s a part of me that will always love anything horse-related. Talbots recently launched their new fall line and it made my cowgirl-heart sing! Especially these horse bit earrings – y’all know I just had to have them!

no 5. - skirts for every occasion
I love dresses, but often underestimate the power and versatility of skirts. A satin midi paired with a chunky sweater, a plaid mini skirt with a t-shirt tucked in, or a classic pencil skirt to rule the work day – so many options and I’m all about my skirts lately!
