There’s something so fun about celebrating the 4th of July each year. Whether we are spending a low-key day at home and watching the fireworks from our windows or enjoying a big cookout with our friends and family. My MO when it comes to 4th of July style typically revolves around comfort, stripes, gingham, or some sort of red, white, or blue combination. Sometimes it’s as simple as wearing a white sundress and a swipe of red lipstick to feel festive and patriotic on the 4th. But if you’re deciding on what to wear, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite 4th of July style inspiration and more below!
A classic white dress does it again. I love this denim dress (c/o Draper James) paired with my favorite espadrilles, a swipe of red lipstick, and raffia tote. Or swap the wedges for a classic pair of sneakers, pack your swimsuit, and grab your sunhat. This fresh, summery look is perfect for a 4th of July backyard BBQ.
Blue and white gingham check is always a good idea, but especially when it comes to 4th of July. This breezy, cotton midi dress and gingham hoop earrings (c/o Draper James) just scream patriotic celebration! If you’re not a gingham gal, then stripes are also very fitting for the occasion.
There’s no rule that says you HAVE to wear all red, white, and blue on the 4th of July. But one fun and easy way you can make a look feel more patriotic is by incorporating a pop of red. Simply add a red hair accessory or your favorite shade of red lipstick. Like I did here with this fun pleated top from Chicwish and darling eyelet midi skirt.
